Program: Mental Health and Addiction Services
Organization: Dryden Regional Health Centre
Description of Services: Provides support and services to assist individuals who are struggling with mental health issues and/or problematic alcohol, substance use and gambling issues
Offers the following services to clients:
  • Mobile crisis services
  • Mental health assessments
  • Individual counselling including grief counselling
  • Psycho-educational group sessions
  • Coordinated psychiatric consultations
  • Community education and awareness
  • External agency referrals
  • On-going support and/or assistance
Case Management Services
  • Provides support and assistance to individuals who are living with a mental illness
Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)
  • Provides access to specialized medical care using videoconferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment
  • Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities
  • Reduces the need to travel to receive care

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:
  • Alcohol, Substance Misuse and Gambling Services: Youth 12 years of age and older

  • Case Management Services for Mental Health Issues: Individuals 16 years of age and older

  • Call to make an appointment

  • Accepts self-referrals and referrals from family or friends, agencies, schools, medical professionals or clergy
