Organization: Lake of The Woods District Hospital
Description of Services: Provides an array of cardiac services to both in and out patients
  • Focuses on ensuring heart function during incidents
  • Educates and assists individuals to manage and gain control of heart disease and illness
Services include:
  • Resuscitation
  • Transfer of critical, unstable patients by land or air
  • Monitoring the progress of illness
  • Pre-operative assessments
Specific procedures and services provided are:
  • Cardiac stress tests
  • Electrocardiography
  • Holter monitoring (extended ECG)
  • Pacemaker checking
