Description of Services: Provides equipment for locating individuals living with Alzheimers, dementia, autism, Acquired Brain Injury or other cognitive disorders who may wander and become lost

Participants wear a lightweight wristband transmitter that emits a radio signal which can be located up to 2 km away by specially trained OPP officers using mobile receiving equipment * transmitter is water resistant and may be worn for showering, bathing and swimming * home visit is made to register the participant with information such as current picture, history and habits gathered to assist OPP * search is started as soon as OPP are contacted * radio signal is not accessible to the public (only to OPP search officers)

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People who are risk of wandering due to cognitive conditions such as Alzheimer's, autism, or dementia
Application: Enrollment must be completed by a caregiver who will serve as the primary contact and support person throughout the participant's involvement in the program
