Sunset Country Family Health Team - Kenora - Paterson Medical Centre
Description of Services: Provides a certified lactation consultant to assist new mothers with breastfeeding; areas of concern can include:
  • Baby is having trouble latching on
  • Mother is experiencing pain with feedings or in breasts
  • Baby is not gaining weight and seems unusually fussy
  • Feeding times are either too long or too short
  • Baby is having issues with urinating and/or bowel movements

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Mothers in all stages of pregnancy with a focus on those who are breastfeeding
Application: Book appointment online or call office; no referral or primary care provider required
