Partnering with the Canada Games Complex, supports 3 community-based exercise programs, including Keep Moving with Mixed Neurology, Keep Moving with Parkinson's and Keep Moving with Stroke
Keep Moving with Mixed Neurology
Provides a one-hour class, twice a week for individuals living with chronic stroke
Reviewed by a Physiotherapist, a trained exercise instructor is provided to deliver the class and focuses on the following:
  • Aerobic conditioning
  • Functional strengthening
  • Mobility and balance exercises

  • Individuals 15 years of age and older living with chronic stroke

  • Pre-admission assessment is conducted by a health care practitioner, such as a physiotherapist
