  • Provides services for families of infants and children with developmental delays or disabilities
  • Aims to help infants and children obtain an optimal level of development
  • Services provided include:
    • Assessment and screening to determine functioning levels
    • Counselling for families with developmentally disabled children
    • Case management including accessing specialized assessments
    • Intervention for encouraging parent/caregiver participation in accessing services for children identified as being at-risk for developmental delay/disability
    • Follow-up plans for families ending services to enable professionals (doctors etc) to continue meeting child's needs
    • Parent workshops and resources on prevention and education about developmental topics

    Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Infants and children 6 years of age and younger who have or are at-risk of a developmental delay/disability; does not require formal diagnosis
