Description of Services: Delivers centrally coordinated, community based programs and services to Métis Communities in Ontario * support services are client-driven, family centered and provide holistic care

Programs focus on:

  • Health Babies Healthy Children (prenatal to 6)
  • Victim's Services
  • Community Wellness and Support Services
  • Medical Transport and Support Services
  • Mental Health and Addictions support and navigation
  • Family Well-Being (age 7+)
  • Problem Gaming and Gambling Awareness, assessments and supports
  • Wellness and Awareness workshops and cultural activities

    Video conferencing suites are available on-site and use Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to provide psychiatry and other health care specialists with a remote connection to patients and clients

    Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People who self-identify as Métis, are not enrolled on any other Aboriginal registry, and are of historic Métis ancestry or reside in Métis communities
