Description of Services:	Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following: Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Tikinagan Child and Family Services, head office in Sioux Lookout Hospital services available at Meno Ya Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service, Wunnumin Lake Detachment; local phone: 807-442-2570, fax: 807-442-9962 Provides a Northern Store, a General Store, Troll's Store and the Wab Store Provides the Norman Hall Community Centre for community events and meetings Offers a community arena and a Senior's Complex Operates a Canada Post postal station Offers a local radio station and cable television Provides provincial court services in the community at the Band Office on an occasional basis through a Scheduled Outreach site Serviced by scheduled and charter flights through the Wunnumin Lake Airport located 3.7 km S of community; maintained and serviced by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario Provides worship services at St James Anglican Church Administers education services and Lydia Lois Beardy Memorial School under the Wunnumin Lake Education Authority Offers an Emergency First Response Team and a Volunteer Fire Department Provides health care and health programs at the Wanapetum Memorial Health Centre Administers the Wunnumin Lake Day Care Centre Services and Programs: Crisis Prevention Extended Health Benefits Housing Department Ontario Works Recreation Program Wanapetum Memorial Health Centre - Health Services
