Description des services:	Provides periodic, short-term breaks to families with a member residing in the home who has a physical and/or developmental disability In-Home Respite Provides respite to families in Dryden who have children or youth living in the family home with developmental disabilities or on-going medical conditions Offers a varied number of hours depending on needs of family, amount of funding available and availability of respite through other services; hours may be taken throughout the week, overnight or weekends Planned Out-of-Home Respite Provides funding to parents of high needs children with multiple special needs to assist them in hiring respite workers

Exigences
Frais:	Program - Fees listed on website ; In special cases, families with financial difficulties who cannot contribute the full amount may have fees reduced or waived upon careful consideration

Admissibilité / population desservie:	In-Home Respite Families with children 18 years of age and younger living in the City of Dryden or surrounding unorganized area Families residing in the Kenora and Rainy River Districts who do not have planned respite support and where there is a risk of breakdown and/or the child needing long-term residential placement The individual must reside in the family home and have a diagnosis of a developmental disability or Has been diagnosed with an on-going chronic medical condition Planned Out-of-Home Respite Families with children 18 years of age and younger who reside in the family home
