Description of Services: Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community
  • Provides transportation assistance from/to Webequie First Nation to medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in Sioux Lookout, Thunder Bay and Winnipeg
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Members of Webequie First Nation who require medical transportation assistance due to age or disability
Application:
  • Requires written proof of medical appointment

  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies

  • Advance cancellation recommended
