Program: Mental Health and Addictions Program
Organization: Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre
Description of Services: Provides a broad spectrum of mental health and addiction services
Services offered include but not limited to:
  • Provides drug and alcohol assessments
  • Offers case management and forensic case management
  • Provides mental health and addictions counselling, both long-term and crisis counselling
  • Offers problem gambling counselling
  • Provides community outreach and education

Fees: None
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Clients 16 years of age and older struggling with mental health and/or addictions issues who are required to:

  • Be respectful and prepared to work on issues

  • Arrive clean and sober

  • Cancel 24 hours in advance if unable to make appointment


Addiction services available to individuals 12 years of age and older
Application:
  • Intake assessment required

  • All addictions clients under the age of 16 years must have a Consent to Treatment of Youth form signed at office at time of intake by a parent or guardian

  • Open to referrals from any source
